Logline: Every day at 4, a governess with a gift for maths steals her employer’s radio to listen to 20071, a mathematic game. When the nephew catches her and sees her talent, he brings her to the game despite her will.

Marie-Etienne is gifted, but she’s afraid that if she says that, her life would change. She has all the keys to change her life, but she doesn’t have any ambition.

Concept

The 20071 game is heavily inspired by the game Countdown in the UK or Des Chiffres et Des Lettres in France.

With a random set of numbers, participants have a time limit to combine the numbers arithmetically with the goal of producing the number 20071.

Marie-Etienne, the lead character, steals the radio everyday to play this game. She never calls, but she always has the solution. When Louis quietly sees her gift, he brings her to participate to the National Championship.
